Mississippi High School Basketball - Vina thwarted by Tremont

The Vina Red Devils basketball team (Vina, AL), dropped 50-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS)

The Eagles now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brilliant for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Tremont will confront a Tigers team coming off a 51-34 non-league win over Tremont (Tremont, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.

The Red Devils (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Cherokee was defeated by Belgreen (Russellville, AL), 66-28, in a non-league contest.
