Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC), 59-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastern Guilford upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Whirlies go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Grimsley won 74-41 in their recent non-league bout against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Williams will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 43-40 non-league win over Graham (Graham, NC).
