North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph knocked off by Providence Grove

The Providence Grove Patriots basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars to 33 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to GRACE Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Providence Grove will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, South Stanly was defeated by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 57-40, in a non-league contest.
