Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science Blue Waves (Columbus, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Kemper County will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Waves enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kemper County (DeKalb, MS).

The Green Wave now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hope for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 9.
