The Freire Charter School Wilmington Dragons basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Avon Grove Charter Wolves to 29 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Dragons now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Shore HomeSchool for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Freire Charter School Wilmington will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 64-31 non-league win over Bayview Christian (Laurel, DE). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Avon Grove Charter falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Wolves host Providence Christian Academy (Elkton, MD) to confront the Griffins in a Mid-Atlantic Independent game on Tuesday, January 7. The Griffins go into the game with a record of 1-3.
