The Zimmerman Thunder basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Big Lake Hornets to 44 in the Thunder league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunder now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Zimmerman will confront a Rockets team coming off a 73-56 non-league win over New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Big Lake falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host St. Francis (St. Francis, MN) to confront the Fighting Saints in a AAA Section 5 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Fighting Saints go into the game with a record of 1-4.
