The Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting North Union Warriors to 39 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Bears now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Algona for a North Central game on Saturday, December 21. Bishop Garrigan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-53 league loss to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, North Union falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-3.
