Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA), 61-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Pope John Paul II upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to face the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 7-1. Notre Dame-Green Pond won 66-56 in their recent league match against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA)

The Bears now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Exeter Township for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21.
