Maryland High School Basketball - Patuxent can't hold off Calvert

The Calvert Cavaliers nipped the visiting Patuxent Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 49-47 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cavaliers face the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Friday, December 20. Calvert will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rams enter the outing with a 3-1 record after their 70-69 league win over Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).

The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Braves enter the Southern Maryland outing with a 3-3 record.
