In Thursday's league contest, the host Cedar Creek Pirates basketball team scored a close 63-57 win over the Lower Cape May Tigers.

Lower Cape May will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ).
