The Cherokee County Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host White Plains Wildcats to 47 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Cherokee County will play a Panthers team coming off a 67-60 league loss to Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, White Plains falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Glencoe (Glencoe, AL) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Friday, December 20. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 13-3. Glencoe won 75-30 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL)
