In Thursday's league test, the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) basketball squad trounced the host Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), by a score of 87-46.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 21. Clinch County will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 69-37 non-league win over Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA).

The Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Trojans come into the A D2 Region 2 test with a 0-4 record.
