The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Comstock Panthers (Comstock, TX) and the visiting Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX), observed Comstock's basketball team overwhelm Leakey by a score of 94-15.

The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ira (Ira, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Ira trounced Roby (Roby, TX), 63-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Medina Bobcats (Medina, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Leakey will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 44-39 league win over Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX).
