The Cushing Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Perkins-Tryon Demons to 33 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Cushing advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Tigers host Mannford (Mannford, OK) to face the Pirates in a Tulsa Seven match on Friday, December 20. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-5. Mannford lost 61-42 in their recent league match against Kiefer (Kiefer, OK)

The Demons now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mannford for a Tulsa Seven match on Friday, January 3. Perkins-Tryon will face a Pirates squad coming off a 36-31 league win over Cushing (Cushing, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 2-5.
