In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Wilmington Friends Quakers basketball team scored a good 66-47 triumph over the DuPont Tigers.
The Quakers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Hornets go into the Independent Schools contest with a 2-3 record.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. DuPont will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
