In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Eagle Academy basketball team scored a good 64-48 triumph over the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks.
The (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Glen Ridge was topped by Verona (Verona, NJ), 39-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sharks battle the Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. KIPP Newark Lab will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 78-59 non-league win over Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ).
