The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) and the visiting Louis E. Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA), observed Emmaus's basketball team overwhelm Louis E. Dieruff by a margin of 54-28.

The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Abington Heights trounced Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 61-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Louis E. Dieruff will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
