In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Emmetsburg E'Hawks basketball team scored a good 61-53 triumph over the Southeast Valley Jaguars.

The E'Hawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans go into the Twin Lakes contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, South Central Calhoun was topped by Spencer (Spencer, IA), 57-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA) in a Twin Lakes contest, on Friday, December 20. Southeast Valley will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 65-22 league loss to Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA).
