Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team edge the host Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), 46-42 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Sylva Bay Academy edged Newton County Academy (Decatur, MS), 46-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Mount Olive Pirates (Mount Olive, MS) in a 1A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Stringer will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
