In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Genoa Central Dragons basketball team scored a close 63-58 win over the Spring Hill Bears.
The Dragons (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Panthers come into the 3A Region 7 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Ashdown was tipped by Prescott (Prescott, AR), 74-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Spring Hill will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Go-Devils come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 57-43 league loss to Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR).
