Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County routed by Kiowa

Kiowa Indians (Kiowa, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), 43-19 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Kiowa upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Indians host Byers (Byers, CO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 5-1. Byers won 48-46 in their recent non-league match against Elbert (Elbert, CO)

The Eagles now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Machebeuf for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High match on Tuesday, January 7. Gilpin County will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 69-55 non-league loss to Windsor Charter Academy (Windsor, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-2.
