In Thursday's non-league test, the Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Varsity Opponent (, ), by a score of 101-60.

Next, the Lions encounter the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Grace Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.

The (190-747) will now prepare for their test against Exploration (Minneapolis, MN). The Explorers come into the A Section 4 test with a 1-0 record.
