Alabama High School Basketball - Sipsey Valley knocks off Greene County

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) and the visiting Greene County Tigers (Eutaw, AL), observed Sipsey Valley's basketball team overcome Greene County by a margin of 53-42.
The Bears (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hope (New Hope, AL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, New Hope defeated Randolph School (Huntsville, AL), 54-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Greene County will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 86-71 non-league win over Richton (Richton, MS).
