The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL) and the visiting Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL), observed Hackleburg's basketball team overcome Marion County by a margin of 82-71.

The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Sulligent dropped by South Lamar (Millport, AL), 53-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Marion County will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 65-59 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, AL).
