Illinois High School Basketball - Triad triumphant over Highland

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) and the visiting Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL), observed Triad's basketball team overwhelm Highland by a score of 53-32.

The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians come into the Mississippi Valley challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Mascoutah trounced Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 62-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Monday, December 23. Highland will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 43-37 league loss to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL).
