Idaho High School Basketball - North Star overwhelms Idaho City

December 19, 2024: Eagle, ID 83616

The North Star Huskies basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Idaho City Wildcats to 34 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Garden Valley for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. North Star will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 65-62 non-league loss to Butte County (Arco, ID). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Idaho City falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Notus (Notus, ID) to confront the Pirates in a 2A Western Idaho game on Tuesday, January 7. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 6-2. Notus won 69-44 in their recent non-league game against Greenleaf Friends Academy (Greenleaf, ID)
