Kansas High School Basketball - Pleasant Ridge thwarts Jefferson County North

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Ridge Rams (Easton, KS) and the host Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS), observed Pleasant Ridge's basketball team knock off Jefferson County North by a score of 51-35.

The Rams (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy (Atchison, KS). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy dropped by Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS), 55-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the McLouth Bulldogs (McLouth, KS) in a Northeast Kansas test, on Tuesday, January 7. Jefferson County North will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
