The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) and the visiting Tyngsborough Tigers (Tyngsborough, MA), observed Lunenburg's basketball team overcome Tyngsborough by a margin of 71-53.

The Blue Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Maynard (Maynard, MA). The Tigers come into the Midland-Wachusett C challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Maynard dropped by Quabbin Regional (Barre, MA), 51-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Tyngsborough will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
