The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Summit Hilltoppers to 38 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Rahway for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will confront a Indians team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Summit falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to confront the Cougars in a Union County game on Saturday, December 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 0-1. Cranford lost 67-62 in their recent non-league game against Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ)
