The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Carson Senators to 20 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Tahoe for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26.

With the loss, Carson falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Senators host Reno (Reno, NV) to confront the Huskies in a game on Friday, December 20. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 6-1. Reno won 57-49 in their recent league game against Douglas (Minden, NV)
