In Thursday's non-league contest, the host The Academy Wildcats basketball team scored a big 58-9 win over the Jefferson Academy Jaguars.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Standley Lake was trounced by Silver Creek (Longmont, CO), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
