The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) and the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), observed Wesson's basketball team knock off Amite County by a score of 44-35.

The Cobras (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, McLaurin was knocked off by Collins (Collins, MS), 34-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Amite County will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
