Louisiana High School Basketball - Plaquemine nips Assumption

December 19, 2024: Napoleonville, LA 70390

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils basketball team scored a close 41-37 triumph over the Assumption Mustangs.

The Green Devils (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Thibodaux nipped Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA), 56-16, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Assumption will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 46-7 non-league win over A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA).
