North Carolina High School Basketball - Bessemer City tipped by Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy

The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons got by the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets basketball squad by a final score of 64-57 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Gryphons clash with the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont outing, on Friday, January 3. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 48-22 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC).

The Yellow Jackets (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, East Rutherford was nipped by Shelby (Shelby, NC), 52-49, in a non-league outing.
