The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Walters Blue Devils (Walters, OK) and the visiting Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK), observed Walters's basketball team overwhelm Geronimo by a score of 73-28.

The Blue Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Badgers come into the Oilfield challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Elmore City-Pernell was routed by Alex (Alex, OK), 66-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Jays battle the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers (Mountain View, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Geronimo will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record.
