In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers basketball team scored a good 49-38 triumph over the Ramsey Rams.
The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mahwah was topped by DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 60-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Ramsey will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Paladins go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ).
