With the victory, Wayne County advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to Telfair County (McRae, GA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-0. Telfair County won 74-58 in their recent non-league match against Dodge County (Eastman, GA)

The Blue Tide now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Groves for a AAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 7. Long County will face a Rebels squad coming off a 54-34 non-league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-6.
