Maine High School Basketball - Winslow can't hold off Maine Central Institute

The Maine Central Institute Huskies nipped the visiting Winslow Black Raiders basketball squad by a final score of 38-32 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Huskies face the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a B North outing, on Saturday, December 21. Maine Central Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Black Bears enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 55-15 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME).

The Black Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Leavitt got by Waterville (Waterville, ME), 59-17, in a non-league outing.
