The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME) and the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), observed Nokomis's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Blue by a score of 46-20.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Lewiston was routed by Bangor (Bangor, ME), 57-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Mt. Blue will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Red Eddies come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-47 league loss to Windham (Windham, ME).
