The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] Cougars (Rolla, ND) and the visiting St. John Woodchucks (St. John, ND), observed North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette]'s basketball team knock off St. John by a score of 59-48.
The Cougars (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Westhope/Newburg (Westhope, ND). The Sioux come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Westhope/Newburg dropped by Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND), 80-58, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Woodchucks encounter the Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. St. John will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 60-22 non-league loss to South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND).
