The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights were victorious over the host Weir Red Riders basketball squad by a final score of 79-71 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Maroon Knights clash with the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 21. Wheeling Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Redskins enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 62-31 non-league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).
