The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 27 points and limited the host South Iredell Vikings to 17 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they host North Wilkes for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.
With the loss, South Iredell falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, December 20.
