The West Lauderdale Knights held off the visiting Choctaw Central Warriors soccer team by a tally of 4-3 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Knights face the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) in a 4A Region 4 game, on Tuesday, January 7. West Lauderdale will attempt to advance on its 11-1 season record.

The Warriors (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Cougars come into the 4A Region 4 game with a 5-9 record.
