Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA) and the visiting JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA), saw Orange Vista's soccer squad hold off JW North by a count of 2-1.

The Coyotes (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA). The Mustangs enter the Sunbelt battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Rancho Verde was edged by Vista del Lago (Moreno Valley, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

With the loss, JW North moves to 1-3 on the year. The Huskies travel to Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA) to encounter the Vikings in a Sunbelt challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Moreno Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Winchester, CA)
