In Friday's league contest, the visiting Cameron Comets basketball team scored a big 72-27 triumph over the Spooner Rails.
The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Regis (Eau Claire, WI). The Ramblers go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Regis smashed Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI), 72-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rails battle the Webster Tigers (Webster, WI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 22. Spooner will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 82-21 non-league win over South Shore (Port Wing, WI).
