The Sherman Tide basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Montcalm Generals to 17 in the Tide non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tide now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Mount Hope Christian Academy for a non-league game on Monday, December 22. Sherman will play a Warriors team coming off a 77-50 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Montcalm falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Man (Man, WV) to play the Hillbillies in a non-league game on Monday, December 22. The Hillbillies go into the game with a record of 2-0. Man won 82-43 in their recent non-league game against West Logan Christian Academy (Logan, WV)
