Mississippi High School Basketball - Walnut tipped by Nettleton

The Nettleton Tigers edged the host Walnut Wildcats basketball team by a tally of 76-69 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bruce for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 30. Nettleton will play a Trojans team coming off a 70-60 non-league loss to Eupora (Eupora, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-6.

The Wildcats (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 6-2 record.
