In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wiggins Tigers basketball team scored a close 36-31 triumph over the Akron Rams.

With the victory, Wiggins upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Merino (Merino, CO) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Saturday, December 20. The Rams enter the match with a record of 4-0. Merino won 46-7 in their recent non-league match against Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO)

The Rams now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sedgwick County for a non-league match on Saturday, December 20. Akron will face a Cougars squad coming off a 44-17 non-league win over Prairie (New Raymer, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
