The Forest Bearcats basketball squad (Forest, MS), lost 51-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Morton Panthers (Morton, MS)

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Germantown dropped by Callaway (Jackson, MS), 49-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 29. Forest will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).
