Texas High School Basketball - Aldine knocked off by Nimitz

The Nimitz Cougars basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Aldine Mustangs to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goose Creek Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Nimitz will meet a Patriots team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-4.

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian Academy (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian Academy was outscored by Madison (Dallas, TX), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
